Community
Community
Being in community within the body is crucial as it fosters spiritual support, accountability, and a sense of belonging, allowing individuals to grow in their faith and collectively fulfill the church's mission to serve and spread God's love. (Heb. 10:24-25, 1 Cor. 12:27, Rom. 12:4-5)
Groups
Community Groups (or, “CG’s”) are geographically-based missional communities. Groups that are geographically based provide diversity and quick response in times of crisis and care. In many cases, people exploring the faith feel more comfortable entering the church through CG’s instead of corporate worship. Over time, these groups aim to embody all of the “one another” passages found throughout the New Testament. (Mt. 22:39, Mk 9:50, Rom 12:10,16, 1 Pt 4:9, 1 John 3:11).
